G’DAY FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Members,
This year, let's kick it up a notch the Irish Way!
This year has started off in a great way. The events that we have planned for this Irish Season are going to be like no other. We are going to honor our past Grand Marshals and Colleens at our annual Comeallye Banquet. We are also co-hosting a new Charity Bocce Ball Tournament with the Gulf Coast Italian American Society on the Biloxi Town Green. We hope to raise money for The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
As the president, I hope you all will join your fellow Hibernia members at The General Membership Meeting to be held at the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum. It promises to be a great event to kick off the new season and better than a pot 'o gold at the end of a rainbow!

Get well soon goes out to many of our members that have been under the weather lately. We hope by the time this reaches our members that they are on the road to recovery. Let's keep all of our members and their families in our prayers. They really help! Especially to the family of our Sunshine Coordinator, Joyce Brune.

CITY HALL PROCLAMATION

The Mayor and City Council of Biloxi will proclaim March as
Irish Heritage Month. HMS will present our Grand Marshal and Colleen to the
city.
Join us and wear your green.

The luncheons will be held Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at Mary Mahoney’s and will begin at NOON. It’s $25 per person to attend and there will be a cash bar.
Ladies – Let’s honor our Colleen. Remember, we will have our Irish Hat Contest, so be sure to show up in your “Irish Green” and wearing your decorated hat!
Gentlemen – Hibernia will have their Irish Roast of our new Grand Marshal.
Hibernia Outgoing Grand Marshal and outgoing Colleen will host our luncheons to honor our 2011 royalty. Deadline for reservations is March 4th.

IRISH DERBY
(5K Run)
When: Saturday, March
19th
Where: Downtown Biloxi
Registration is at 8:00 a.m. and
Run will begin at
9:00 a.m.
Registration will begin at 8AM and the Derby will be held at 9AM on Saturday March 19th in Downtown Biloxi. This is a great way to start the big day!

HIBERNIA 2011 ST. PATRICK PARADE
When: MARCH 19TH, 2011
Where: Starting Route at The Biloxi Yacht Club on Hwy 90
Time: 2:00 P.M.
The parade will be March 19th starting at 2PM. As always, we need volunteers the morning of the parade to assist in lining up the various units.
Make sure to come to The Biloxi Yacht Club before and after the parade to enjoy some delicious corned beef and cabbage. Show your spirit by carrying one of our Irish flags and the Hibernia Banner.
