Justice David M. Ishee, a native son of Gulfport, has long been a guiding force in Mississippi’s judicial landscape. Appointed to the Mississippi Supreme Court in 2017 by Governor Phil Bryant, Justice Ishee previously served with distinction for over 13 years on the Mississippi Court of Appeals. Born in 1963, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. His career began alongside his late father-in-law, Elmo Lang, in the firm of Lang and Ishee in Pascagoula, where he navigated complex civil, criminal, and family law cases. His journey through the judiciary saw him preside as Municipal Court Judge for Pascagoula, Ocean Springs, and Gulfport, and serve as a youth court judge in Jackson County, all before joining the Supreme Court’s ranks.

A respected educator and community leader, Justice Ishee has been an adjunct professor at several Mississippi institutions, including the University of Mississippi and Mississippi College School of Law, where he teaches criminal litigation and business law. He is a dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a proud family man, married to Linda Lang of Pascagoula, with whom he shares a daughter, Lauren. Justice Ishee’s life and work reflect a deep commitment to justice, education, and service, carrying forward the values of his late father, Representative Roger Ishee, and leaving an indelible mark on the legal and civic community of the Gulf Coast.

Margaret "Maggie" Eaves is a proud daughter of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, born and raised in the heart of Biloxi. She graduated with high honors from Ocean Springs High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from Mississippi State University. After completing her studies, Maggie returned to her roots, beginning her career as a process engineer at the Chevron Pascagoula Refinery, where she has served for over 11 years and currently holds the position of Process Engineering Supervisor. Maggie’s Irish heritage runs deep, tracing back to her great-grandmother Florence Walshe Hoffman, who immigrated from Roscahill, County Galway, in the early 20th century. Her grandmother, Connie Tisdale, later settled in Biloxi and became one of the founding members of the Hibernia Marching Society. The Tisdale family has been a prominent part of the Biloxi community since the 1920s, with notable figures such as the late Dr. William Tisdale, long-time physician and former Mississippi House of Representatives member; Paul Tisdale, Biloxi City Councilman and former Superintendent of Biloxi Schools; William “Gig” Tisdale, Biloxi Municipal Court Judge; and Jill Tisdale Treutel, a beloved nurse at North Bay Elementary. Maggie’s mother, Connie Eaves, along with Paul and Jill, are all active members of the Hibernia Society today.

Maggie has been a dedicated and enthusiastic Hibernia member for the past two years, serving on the board as the Social Media Chair and the St. Patrick’s Day 5K Race Chair. Under her leadership, the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day 5K achieved record-breaking participation and community engagement. Outside of her work with Hibernia, Maggie is a Chevron Ambassador, promoting local STEM careers to students across Jackson County and representing Chevron at the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Student Ambassador Program. She also serves on the leadership team for the Chevron Pascagoula Women’s Employee Network and is a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Biloxi. Maggie’s dedication to service and her impressive achievements, including holding a U.S. patent, make her a true embodiment of Irish spirit and community pride. Just married to Mark Mosher at Disney World, Maggie continues to bring energy and passion to all she does, committed to remaining an active and vibrant part of the Hibernia Irish Society.
